Şakir Paşa Ailesi. “Şakir Paşa Family” is a new Turkish series, produced by Medyapım, airing from December 15 on the Now channel.
The series follows the true story of the distinguished Şakir Paşa family, starting in 1912 during the final era of the Ottoman Empire. It delves into the extraordinary lives and relationships within this family, featuring prominent figures such as Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı, known as the Fisherman of Halicarnassus, who popularized Bodrum; Fahrelnisa Zeid, a master of modern painting; Aliye Berger, Turkey’s first printmaker; and Füreya Koral, the country’s pioneering ceramic artist. Their unique paths and intertwined lives will be brought to light, offering a captivating portrait of this prominent family.
